more cat pics than you can shake a feather ended stick at
You’ve met hugo, now meet the other cats that I photographed on Friday.
This is smokey. This picture doesn’t at all represent how sweet he is but it’s the only one that came out clearly. I was just looking through the photos i had taken and feeling bad that he had so often been over looked when I found out he got adopted today! Yay!!

I couldn’t get over how cute Katie was when I saw her. A chubby, crosseyed chatty cat. It was love at first sight. I can’t imagine anyone passing her up.

Bernie, a king among cats.

This is Squeakers (If i am remembering correctly). He has also been adopted and I am not surprised as this handsome ginger was the first to greet everyone who came in to his room.

Bandit with his mask.

Hey Erin…this is the third reply that i have started to respond to yr lovely kitty pics. I am a master spazz on the computer and manage to erase whatever i am creating….%$%^X3!!!$!!!&$$ You should see me work my magic on a sewing machine. Loved your photos…the cats seemed calm, open and allowed you a window into their fetching furry magic. The drop of drool on Sqeakers chinny chin chin is priceless …each photo is a celebration of their ways of being in the world. My dad played piano, sax, clarinet but was a madman on his beloved accordian….white shirt, 1950′s maroon suspenders and a blissed out digit dance on those pearly keys…happy happy. Thanks. cheryl
Hey Cheryl! Is this Cheryl from the SPCA? If so we missed you on friday!
I’m glad you liked the photos! Not all of the cats like having their photo taken and some just like to rub their face against the lens but generally if i take enough then i can find a few to use
Your dad sounds like me kind of guy. I kind of play the accordion too, and it’s maroon!
Hey Erin…yes it is cheryl from the spca..once again….this is the second attempt at sending a reply%$^&% I am not used to the newer laptop with the flat keyboard…I learnt to type on a manual Underwood…really primitive…but i still do prefer a dip in the key….without it i amazingly make things disappear…Ta Da!!…I have been coming in for the cats on Monday as there seems to be a need that day…i miss both yrself and Judy, but i know that the kitties are in loving care with you…I can’t resist a stint with the bunnies …so i am also coming in Wed. mornings as well and i think that Jen can use the help with all of those little animals in that single space.
I love yr site Erin…I have been making art for a long time and would love to see yr stuff at some future date…and i love cooking just like yrself…and feeding people…I have made my living working as a vegetarian chef (restaurant, catering and teaching) or with my art creative skills…(teaching, graphics/design work (yuk!), mural,etc..) I do not play an instrument although i should, as my dad was so talented in that respect…i have an ear so i really should get busy in that regard…i adore cello and ukelele makes me smile…what can i say…Catch you later….keep those fab pics coming…they really capture their heart.
Best,
cheryl
Erin, Your pictures are beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. Carol
Thanks Carol! I’m sure there will be many more to come
